SPARE PART MANAGEMENT & INVENTORY CONTROL – Singapore
SPARE PART MANAGEMENT & INVENTORY CONTROL
Offline in Singapore
Training Date by Request
OVERVIEW
The increasing demand for users with various types of spare parts or materials required prompts many companies to review their inventory strategies. One of the key functions in inventory management is material requirement planning, where the aim is to plan how much and when materials are needed at an optimal cost level. To support these decisions, the minimum inventory levels in the warehouse and reorder levels for each material must be determined in advance. This calculation requires precision as it is influenced by many factors, including fluctuations in usage rates, lead time fluctuations in procurement, and the desired service level.
This training will cover spare part management and inventory control, including exercises in applying methods to determine reorder levels and minimum stock while considering the aforementioned factors. Best practices from various private and state-owned enterprises will be discussed to enrich cases, accompanied by practical applications and real-life examples in the field.
