The aim of this short module is to raise understanding and awareness of the safety issues associated with welding. Upon completion learners will be aware of a range of key issues, including:

• Appropriate protective equipment
• Safety tips relating to the work area, equipment, fumes and ventilation and confined spaces FirstAid
